How to Replace Your Pentair Pool Light

Step 1: Check Your Existing Setup

Before replacing, confirm:

Voltage: 12V (low voltage) or 120V / 230V

Light type: Halogen / LED

Mounting: Niche-mounted (in-pool wall) or surface-mounted

Control: Switch, Remote, DMX, Automation system

Step 2: Remove the Old Light

Turn off power at the circuit breaker.

Remove the retaining screw and front ring.

Carefully pull the light fixture out of the niche.

Disconnect the light cable at the back or junction box.

Clean the niche (pool wall opening) and inspect the wiring

Step 3: Install the New Light

Connect the LED replacement light to the existing cable (use waterproof connectors).

Insert the new light into the original niche.

Secure it using the original screw or included bracket.

Seal all joints or cable exits with silicone or waterproof sealant.

All lights are IP68-rated — safe and durable for underwater use.

Step 4: Power On & Test

Restore the power supply.

Confirm the light turns on properly.

For RGB models: use switch-toggle, remote, DMX, or app to control the colors.

Done — enjoy your new bright, energy-efficient pool lighting.
